Chromatic Terrain
Chromatic Terrain is a series of abstract landscapes inspired by my original ink artworks. What began as an exploration of flowing pigments, organic shapes and unexpected color interactions, has evolved into a collection of imaginary terrains that seem to exist somewhere between the microscopic and the monumental. Using my ink compositions as a foundation, I explore their resemblance to natural landscapes, geological formations and winding rivers. Delicate textures, intricate patterns and rich layers of color create the illusion of vast, unfamiliar worlds, even though their origins lie in the smallest details of flowing ink. I am particularly fascinated by this ambiguity of scale and the way abstract forms can evoke something strangely familiar. Each image invites the viewer to discover their own landscapes, structures and stories within the intricate interplay of color and texture. Chromatic Terrain is ultimately an exploration of the unexpected beauty that emerges when fluid abstraction meets the imagination.
