Fluid Monoliths
Fluid Monoliths is a series of abstract sculptures based on my original ink photographs. The flowing forms and organic color interactions of these images were transformed into three-dimensional works in polished marble and the metals gold, silver and bronze. The sculptures explore the contrast between permanence and fluidity, combining solid materials with forms that appear to bend, flow and come alive. Fluid Monoliths moves between photography, painting and sculpture, between reality and imagination.
